Full Stack Web Development

Hello! I'm Patrick and I'm a full stack developer from Berlin.

I build dynamic web apps, customized CMS sites, intuitive user interfaces and ...

Technological challenges make my heart beat faster.
I'm a problem solver and entropy tamer.

In many years of web development and a bunch of trial & error, I've tracked down the tools, techniques and people with which I'm really able to create amazing things.

  • Python - proven programming language that enables high productivity.
  • Established web framework Django
  • CMS Wagtail: excellent usability, future-proof and customizable from the ground up
  • Standardized programming interfaces (REST and GraphQL)
  • Software testing for bug free systems
  • Focus on flexibility, performance and security

  • Interactive user interfaces
  • Responsive design for optimal display on all devices
  • Interactive infographics and visualizations
  • Modern and future-proof web technologies - e.g. with VueJS or TailwindCSS
  • Focus on usability and intuition

  • Scalable, high-performance hosting
  • Sustainability: electricity from hydroelectric power in Hetzner's German data center
  • Flexible use of server technologies and cloud services such as search engines or caching
  • SSL certificates

I'm part of a network of nerds, creatives and strategists. For special projects, I can count on versatile expertise:

  • UI/UX designers
  • Project managers
  • Online marketing and SEO experts
  • Artificial intelligence experts

A small selection of recently published web projects...

Kaluza + Schmid

Kaluza + Schmid is a furniture rental, event and design agency and hired me for an extensive relaunch.

The back-end of the site was implemented with Django/Wagtail. It allows employees to present the company's product catalog online in an intuitive way. The responsive front-end offers visitors an intelligent search, favorites function, inspiration grids, application forms, dynamic animations and much more.

Invito is a platform for event management.

The web application I developed provides a powerful solution for planning and managing events. From registration, guest management, notification function to ticketing and check-in, the entire event workflow is covered and automated.

The Chambers of Crafts in Munich, Stuttgart, Wiesbaden, Potsdam, Karlsruhe, Freiburg and Frankfurt Oder have now planned over 500 events with Invito and registered well over 70,000 guests.

Herzberge Stories

Together with the artist collective Po:era, I developed a progressive web app.

Herzberge Stories guides visitors through Herzberge Park in Berlin, creating an immersive, surreal experience through the clever use of audio and video material.

"With your smartphone and headphones, you enter deeper and deeper into a parallel reality, between matter and spirit, man and nature, this world and the next".

Patrick is versatile, competent and thinks outside the box.
We are happy that we can count on his experience and creativity in upcoming projects.

Denitza Larsen, Jonas und der Wolf GmbH

Patrick has supervised and implemented the relaunch of our site. We are more than satisfied with the result. Besides his creative problem solving skills, I was particularly impressed by his open and straight forward personality.

Milan Diebecker, Kaluza + Schmid GmbH

Due to the structured way of working and the excellent knowledge of the latest technologies, we experience a very pleasant and successful cooperation.

Timon Beutel, Art Director
